Situation
Villa Livadaros is situated in the graphic village of Karterados, just 2km away from Fira. Today Karterados is a peaceful, scenic village with interesting architecture. As you walk along the quaint, paved paths you will meet the traditional, old cave houses built in a gorge. In the central square you can admire a beautiful windmill and a memorial plaque for the fallen in World War II. Furthermore, there are some nice restaurants, cafes, a supermarket and a traditional bakery which is a must that you try its products. Finally, Karterados holds remarkable churches and chapels. Notable is the Church of Ascension, whose steeple resembles a tower.
